Here's may story can anyone help?
I bought a 2003 Freelander at an auction and it only had 1 key. I ran the car for several months and needed to replace some worn front end parts. The key was lost in the process. I made several calls to Pittsburgh dealer and couldn't even get a call back. Went to a lock smith who said he would need the key code to help me. I tried the Harrisburg dealer and found them as helpful as they could be. Despite verifying my Identity and providing proof of ownership to the dealer, Landrover Corporate would not provide the key code for a vehicle newer than 1995. They also discontinued and no longer will provide a replacement key or a replacement ignition assembly for a vehicle as old as mine. Totally abandoning me as a customer.
