Default Time to put my Landrover to rest!

My rover made it 17yrs! It's time to say goodbye. Had a accident on the Lincoln Tunnel ramp Friday. Road was slick and I hit the barrier. No one hurt, completely out of the blue, officer said it happens after it rains. Its time to junk her! I am so sad, but know she won't make inspection in October and not worth trying to fix her. Anyone have suggestions as to how to sell her for parts? Found a junk shop in NYC that offered me $300. It has a brand new battery (from Covid in May), 3 tires are ok and some other parts in ok shape. Please let me know. Need to decide by the end of the week. VERY SAD!!! Thank you mollusc for all your help in keeping her alive all these bonus months.

Hello, it's bad! I'm glad that you ok. If you fill correct price, buy-back and part-out may work. It may take some time, but everything from the engine, tranny, clutch parts, lights, seats, wheels, tires, brakes etc would probably go pretty quick i have the same experiance when crashed my rover and visited wall work service. If you plan on keeping the car a LONG time, you could try fixing it, but will take a huge hit on resale of a salvage title. So try to visit some dealers and ask them about car details.
