wanted: series iia
hey guys,
i have been out of the rover scene for just over a year and i miss it like crazy...i want back in. i just went off roading over the weekend in my neighbors '69 series iia 109 and fell in love all over again. i want to get one as a fixer upper to rebuild myself because he said they're about as easy to work on as a lawnmower (any arguments to that?)
i'm just having some trouble as far as where to look. i'm in central maryland and a college student so i'm looking for as cheap as possible and pretty much any condition. my neighbor told me about a quinten aspen(sp?) who sells old ones. anyone know him? i'd appreciate any feedback. i can't wait to get my hands on another!
