Default Alarm triggered by Sun..?

In the same parking spot every day, mid morning the alarm often goes off with no one around. Tends to happen on sunny days.

Is there a way to pull a code or something that would indicate what the trigger was..?

Apparently this can be caused by a faulty hood latch. Unplugging the connector behind the passenger side latch will prevent the alarm from arming, so use a paperclip to short the plug. This allows the alarm to arm. Wait now to see if this is a workaround for the spurious alarm signals...

Since I have 2 D1's right now, I'm thinking I will go with the single unit one, but don't know if I will need the adapter for the 14cux , not sure what the EMS stands for...
