Discovery center dash bezel in the classic
I'd like to see what was involved in getting a DI/DII center dash fascia to fit a 1995 RRC as they are not identical. Maybe some of the people here who purchased the DI/DII fascia can post photos of the results of their mods. The bottom and top of the RRC fascia is very different than that of the DI/DII.
Cut up the D2 bezel to try it. Not even close to a decent fit, so i'm curious how this was done.
I was hesitant to do it all because when placing them side by side, the D2 bezel is at least 1/4" taller than the RRC. And as expected, it makes the whole bezel mounted slightly low and misaligned
I can't accept it. It looks terrible

it does sit slightly lower, you can also see a little gap at the top if you look closely. It is indeed not perfect nor an original fit. Just have to make sure you don’t trim too much off. Good enough for me, sorry It didn’t work out for you.
