Good afternoon from Evesham in Worcestershire
Having just picked up my Range Rover Classic
1993 Vogue TDi
I have bought it as a restoration project and thought, no hope, that this could be the place that would be right for a newbie restorer.
Here is to a long , happy and informative time.
Right now I have two questions that I hope someone can help me with as a starter
1. What battery should be fitted to this vehicle. My research conflicts as some say 069 and others say 072
2. The log book states the colour as red and I wondered what the proper name is for the colour...it is a metallic red/ maroon....any ideas?

Anyway...I look forward to hearing from all you Classic fans and fellow restorers
regards

Clive

Hi Clive and welcome here. You will love your RRC. I don’t know the answers to your questions but personally I would install the largest battery that fits the space regardless of what the battery seller has in his book. Also, when you have questions concerning parts that are common to the Disco 1 (like engine or transmission) you will get more traffic if you post in the Disco 1 section of this forum. I’ve done this several times for my P38.
