I am looking to purchase a classic Range Rover. I found a fantastic example(94 LSE), no rust, engine is good, no bad oil leaks electronics all work etc. The big problem is that I am 6”4 and I don’t comfortably fit. I spent a bit of time fiddling with the seat adjustments but I was as far back as I could make it go and the steering wheel still was on my knees.

Does anyone know of any custom seating rails available? I’ve seen them for defenders but not range rovers. I’d rather do something someone has already done before or purchase a product. It wouldn’t need to go that much further back. I want to keep it original as possible but maybe that isn’t realistic!.

I’m in Australia but I can order parts from the UK.

 

you could have a fab shop make you some new brackets to put it back another inch or two. bolt the brackets into the stock holes, then the seat into the new bracket holes pushed back a few inches. should be relatively cheap. it's easy to remove the seats. just 4 bolts.
