Default Camshaft Position Sensor location

Hello,

New to Range Rover. AutoZone diagnosed my 2012 Evoque as having a bad Camshaft Position Sensor; where is it located on the engine? Where can I get a replacement at a good price?

Thank you in advance

The camshaft position sensor(s) are located on the top right side of the valve cover (opposite end from the VVT-S). There should be one over the intake cam (close to the vacuum pump) and one over the exhaust cam (close to the HP fuel pump). They should each be held in place by one 8mm or 10mm bolt. You should be able to get replacement camshaft position sensors at just about any auto parts store - especially for the 2012 - 2017 Range Rover Evoque since they typically use the Ford 2.0L engine (again, if I'm not mistaken). They tend to run anywhere from about $11.00 - $30.00 or more each depending where you get them and what name brand you get.
