I bought a Land Rover Evoque 2015 on 07/31/2017 it had 19491Km, Land Rover/Jaguar dealership in Brossard
I have always done my oil changes and repairs at the Land Rover/Jaguar dealership in Brossard
Here are the appointment dates I had at Land Rover Brossard

• February 15, 2019 check engine lights up + oil change 35746Km

• March 12, 2019 check engine turns on no solution they found nothing 36395Km

• July 20, 2020 oil change maintenance + Brake change 50042Km

• Jan 17, 2022 Engine blown/dead engine -- Cause Unknown -- 59000Km



Pandemic obliges, I have been working from home for 2 years so I no longer use my vehicle on a daily basis... So my question is...
Why did my engine jump? What is the life of a normal engine?

• What is the reasonable duration warranty of a Land Rover Evoque?
• What is the guarantee of use (use)?
• Is there a hidden visor (twice I went to the garage to check the check engine problem).
Currently my vehicle is no longer working, the cost of repairs is estimated by Land Rover Brossard at $17500 + sales tax..
What is the legal warranty of the vehicle depending on the use I make of it??

Would have to know what broke in the engine. Mine broke an intake valve but I had 190,000km at that point.

 

Which engine do you have?
