Default EV issue

I have recently purchased an Evoque P300 (Hybrid). I usually drive it in EV mode, but intermittently it wont accept EV mode and uses petrol instead. I've checked with the manual, and there's nothing documented that would cause this to happen, and sometimes it does revert back to electric for no apparent reason. Am I unique?

May be heating is the reason. Switch off A/C, go into the menue "climate" and deactivate climate control, choose the EV-mode. Do this before starting the engine and you hopefully can drive about 50 km electrically. If you are feeling cold use the seat heating and steering wheel heating. This is accaptable for short trips. To dry the windows reactivete A/C.
