Question Keyless opening/locking

Does anyone know, if the keyless opening/locking is a standard feature in Range Rover Evoque 2017? I just bought a second hand Evoque and I was wondering, because keyless opening didn't work. The user manual just tells about the function, but not the feature itself, if it is a standard, or not. And local dealer told, that there is somekind of cyber attack (or some other issue) to get the access in LR's service database, so they didn't get the info...

So, if anyone knows, it would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Juha

1st Thing, Is the feature enabled in the vehicle settings menu. If the previous owner did not want the feature they might have not enabled it or turned it off. I have a 2013 and I access the vehicle setup by using the middle button and arrows on the side of the steering wheel next to the console. I have forgotten what the feature is called but it is not "keyless entry". If you have the owners manual all the info should be in there. I really don't care for the feature so I just gave up on it. I can tell you this , one of the first things you should do is have the battery checked. I bought mine used and it had a gazillion trouble codes and a new battery installation and reset took care of most of them.

I found out what options my MY2013 Evoque had by checking the vin number here: https://landroverforums.com/forum/vindecoder.php
