Default Rear Hatch Not Working or Locking

Hey Everyone,

I am going to try and explain this as clear as I can so bare with me:

- I picked up some groceries yesterday and everything was fine, got home, opened the rear tailgate and when I was finished went to close it and nothing worked? At first, the tailgate would not completely lock. it would power down, try to latch itself but about half way through it would double beep and raise itself again. Tried it a few more times, and then the power went out and the tailgate will now not power up and down at all. Also, now the latch will not function at all either, but when I click any of the tailgate buttons I just hear a click. This is now making me not available to lock my car at all and the RR dealer cant see me for over a week.....

- I checked the fuse box in the back for the tailgate fuse and it is fine, I even replaced it and no luck. However, now the (and excuse me I dont know car parts) little module where all the wires come from to go into the fuse box is also making a clicking noise when I click a rear hatch button.

Any thoughts as what this could be or how I could fix it on my own? Me and my coworker think it's a wiring issue solely just to the rear hatch?

Hi there,
I am having the exact same issue. What was the outcome once you took it to the dealer?
Thanks
