I have a 2011 HSE 5.0 gas with 112k mi. It's been a to few shops for an irregular RPM, both at idle and while at steady speed, it bobs up and down. Throttle body is fine. Timing chain was done at 90k mi by prior owner, but it is intermittently showing a cam timing code.
The shop it's at can't find any other reason for the irregular RPM's, and believe the timing is probably it, but won't guarantee that a proper timing chain job will fix the issue. Has anyone experienced an issue like this?
