Default Front Air Struts- Connected system?

Howdy Guys,

As you all know about 3 months ago I replaced my passenger front air strut on my 2011 L322 MK III Supercharged. It turned out to just be bad o-rings so I got out pretty cheap.

Well, meet me here in the present day, and now my driver side has finally gone. I could tell it was going because some intermittent suspension leak faults and I could hear it blowing air sometimes after I turned off the car. Long story short. I drove off a curb today and now the tire is in the fender, and I can hear it blowing air out of the driver strut when she tries to pressure. I am assuming I just finally blew the O-ring, nbd its about a 2-hour fix.

However.... Here is my question... my passenger front also has the wheel in the fender which i find strange because it has a new bag and o-rings... are the systems somehow linked? When my passenger side went bad it was a very slow leak, taking almost 36 hours "drain", this side is MUCH more severe.
