L322 Range Rover Subframe Bolt stripped during repair
In repairing the emergency brake module on a 2011 Range Rover in mint condition, the dealership mechanic needed to lowered the rear subframe to complete the work. In doing so, one of the bolts on the rear subframe appears to be stripped or unable to tighten down completely. Rust may have played a factor.
Dealer is bringing in an auto body mechanic in to consider options. Any thoughts?

I know this is an older post but whatever happened with this issue? I had the same exact issue doing the same repair.

Dear Fellow Rover Enthusiast and L322 owner. Fortunately I took the advice of Richard Moody the Principal of Rover Special Vehicles located in Exeter, Rhode Island. I shipped my 2011 L322 to Richard who had his expert mechanics drill out and replace the damaged bolt and replace it with a larger Range Rover Sport bolt.
I have been a Rover owner and enthusiast since 1994. The pride of my current fleet and probably will always be my 2011 L322 Supercharged. The mistake made by the Auto Nation Mechanic in White Plains, New York could have been avoided, had more time and care been taken to loosen such a bolt. The compounding factor was their lack of knowledge, or sincere interest in repairing an otherwise pristine Rover. White Plains did refund the Emergency Break Module repair which was $1,200. Little consolation for the time and additional cost of the subsequent repair of approximately $2,500, not including shipping my Prized Rover to Rhode Island. Also, shout out to Montrey Auto shipping for taking such wonderful care and attention to getting my Rover to Special Vehicles in less than 24 hours.
Richard Moody not only diagnosed my problem over the phone (of course with pictures), his team repaired my Rover in three days turnaround. I will not ever entrust such complex repairs on the Pride of my Rover family with anyone else. A special shout to my friends at Paramus ( Penske) who continue to do the routine oil changes, filters, tires and belt maintenance on all my Rovers. And who encouraged me to get the repair done by an expert like Richard.
If you care and love your Rovers like I do, spend the time and the money to find a dealer and a mechanic who is as passionate about the Heritage of Land Rover as you are. Hanover in Massachusetts and Josh the lead mechanic and service manager Joe Anselmo and Paramus with Stacey and George are terrific. Richard Moody in Exeter Rhode Island is unmatched in his knowledge and expertise of all things Rover.
i wish you many more happy Rover years with your L322, quite frankly the best of the five generations of Range Rovers.
