Made a mistake.. RR sitting on its wheels
Hello everyone, I've made a mistake.
I've installed johnson lift rods, and everything went perfectly, vehicle was sitting higher, was able to fit my 34" tires without much rub, did some trimming and it sat well. My mistake here was to use the Autel 908 Pro to adjust vehicle height, I read the instructions to measure correctly, and input those values, the tool shot back that some measurements were out of range. I decided to abort the procedure to not mess up the ride, but the vehicle then sat at a "cali lean" 580mm front and 470mm rear. this is measured from the center of the wheel to the arches.
A tech said to deflat the suspension and reenable, clear codes and it should return to normal. This was not the case and my l322 is now sitting on its tires in the shop. I cleared codes but on every startup it gives me suspension fault, digging deeper I'm getting permanent code for both my front ride height sensors. The suspension will not inflate, compressor will not activate to raise the vehicle.
I am thinking because of my lift rods, the sensors are reading out of range causing the computer onboard to not engage the compressor. Would I be able to disconnect the lift rods from the suspension arm and adjust the sensor manually to get to an in-range ride height, then configure the vehicle? I am at a loss other than that and any help would be appreciated.
Edit #1: On monday I will try raising the vehicle with jacks, clearing codes, and reenable normal suspension function - see what happens, before trying to manually disconnect the sensor arms

Had a similar issue on my LR3 after installing bigger tires and recalibrating the height sensors with a gap tool. I solved it by jacking up the vehicle before starting it. My hunch is the new, recalibrated height of the ride sensors left them outside acceptable range for the EAS system, causing the entire system to fault and stop working.
This happens each time I completely deflate the suspension now on that vehicle. It only takes a couple inches and the suspension inflates normally. I'd also suggest reading the entire section for ride height adjustment for your calibration tool's manual, OR reaching out to the Johnson Rod folks for support.
