Default Playing music through iPhone

I just recently purchased a 2012 Range Rover L322. The iPod cable is of course out of date so I plugged in my phone to the USB to listen to music and an error comes up. I have the phone set up to Bluetooth for calls, but how can I have music play? Do I need a specific cord for it? Thanks

just get the adaptor for it. goes on the end of the ipod cable. make sure to get the one that includes audio, as a lot of the cheapo ones are just charge and sync.

Amazon Amazon

not sure if that works, but it is a 30 pin to lightning adapter, assuming you have a newish iphone.

I have the bovee bluetooth ipod adapter plugged into the original cable. You can find it on amazon. Works perfectly with the original steering wheel controls and sounds good.
