Default Proud owner .. '06 HSE with a few Q's

Long term longing finally comes tru .. Bought a Buckingham blue with parchment Oxford leather/Navy piping HSE-Lux edition. Drove a 2011 Cayenne for 90,000 but boy this vehicle once your seated on throne I tell ya .. Makes you feel like the king of the world unlike no other vehicle. Enjoying the nice 4.4 L engine. Paid $6500 for this one owner car that has 138,000 miles on the odometer and good maintenance. Car needs some work : Front differential leak (needs reseal, my research tells me it is common for a vehicle of this vintage and mileage. No grinding thinning noise coming from the unit so I am hoping just leaking fluid), Seepage from left front outer CV joint and surprisingly rear main seal leak. Mechanic says lets address the front diff/CV leaks first and monitor the rear main seal as its not that common to occur for this engine. Let's hope so.

I have a few questions for the cognoscenti here. Driver side heater is inoperable. The switch ****s off. I am guessing a heating element issue and the switch shuts off as a safety measure. Is this a moderately difficult DIY ? Hate to spend $600 on this if it can be done cheaper. The second question is what options do I have to stream music via my phone. I don't see any way to add an AUX. Or is there ?? Help in this regard is much appreciated. Local shop suggested a Kenwood head unit for which the dash has to come out and parts/labor is $4500 !!! There must be a simpler way .. NO ??

I'll post more pics after my detail .. The exterior (and more so the interior .. is dirrrrtyyy) but I am very confident that its going to clean up extremely well. Likely tanning solution stains
