Window Rain Guards ?
Does anyone know a good source for Window Rain Guards that will fit a 2008 Range Rover Supercharged ? I found one set at WeaterTech but the photos they have are not on the 2008. I like to leave the windows down while driving in the rain and thinking the guards will prevent the rain from coming straight down on the buttons. Anyone using these ?
I've been doing a lot of research on rain guards and I ended up springing on the WeatherTech in-channel visors.
Their compatibility guide is apparently not well done. I have a 2012 and they state they do not have one compatible with my RRSC.
This doesn't make sense as a quick check of LR's parts catalog lists the various years of L322 as having matching part numbers for front and rear door assemblies, window glass, window run channels, etc.
Also, Amazon's listing for WeatherTech 82309 shows compatibility for my 2012, and there are postings from an owner with a 2012 who confirmed they fit, as well as pictures of a 2004 with the visors installed. It was cheaper to purchase the visors directly from WeatherTech, by the way.
The factory original Land Rover visors are very hard to find. Most aftermarket brands are not in-channel mounted. I don't like the look of the door-frame mounted visors, especially at the rear where it also covers the stationary pane of glass. Doesn't look good to me.
I am getting them in tomorrow, and I will let you know what my findings are, but I have no doubt they'll fit just fine.

Well the WeatherTech's came in and they installed in just about 10 minutes. Couldn't be happier with their fit. They're nice and tight, and once you get the hang of where the front of the front door visors sit, it's a breeze.
