An L405 is joining my immediate family fleet shortly, we looked at 5 L405s yesterday and ended up picking a 2017 5.0 with 67k miles that has a new engine installed by LR less than 1000 miles ago with a 1 year warranty. It somehow checked out well, I was expecting far more issues than what I found but time will tell how it performs since we intend to keep it for at least 100k more miles and it will be my dad's need DD after his GMC was destroyed in a major crash recently.
So far I like the L405, for an SUV it drives very well and while it's a little down on power it's more than adequate for really any usage, I'll update more as the deal closes etc....main thread I have going is over on Clublexus but I will copy/paste everything here.

Got the car serviced last weekend A lot of ford stuff to be found up top... When the dealer replaced the engine they didn't change filters lol! Interesting plugs though, I thought these use champion iridium plugs so I'm not sure why it had NGKs Very easy access Everything looked fine up front The rear lower arms were replaced already at some point I like how easy to get to everything is.... Except for the front, armor panel is moderately annoying I can't wait for this to break lol! Did a fluid swap but I'm sure there will be issue at some point Easy to get to everything up front New engine surrounded by older parts
