ACE system replacement on 2015 RR HSE Autobiography
I will try and keep this short . Any advice would be great. 2 years ago during the pandemic my wife could not find the windshield washer reservoir and put water in the ACE hydraulic reservoir by mistake. I found out and immediately drove it to my independent Land Rover mechanic that I have been using for my previous Range Rover. They said that they did not have the equipment to pump and flush it. So I took it to the dealer. During the pandemic the dealer could not get to it for 2 months . A few thousand dollars and 2 months later I got it back. Everything was great then 6 months later the system started leaking probably because it sat for months waiting to be flushed. I kept filling it up and after a while I just drove it without the ACE system as I needed the truck. I was driving it early this week and it started running wonky and the ACE pump pulley seized up probably due to the system not having fluid. The belt broke off and damaged my water pump inlet. I got quoted 18k from the independent mechanic as they said they now can do all of the work except the bleeding for the front ACE Bar pump pulley and belt and repair of the water pump. I decided that this major of a repair I should take it to the dealer. So I got the bid which for the same work was 13.5k which was surprisingly cheaper to replace the entire ACE system and hoses but they want to do another hydraulic part that powers the whole suspension ( it starts with an R and I will follow up today and get the name of it) but it is 11k more for a total of 25k. The service advisor recommended it but the independent did not. I really don't want to spend the extra 11k on a 9 year old car. Any advice on whether the other part replacement is necessary ? Also I just spent 14k on a timing chain and fuel pump a few months ago
The car still looks like new and runs great with only 75k on it.
Thanks in advance

I just bit the bullet and payed to replace the whole system. I really love the car so hopefully I can get a few more years and get a 5th gen. My 06 I drove for 185k before having any serious problems so fingers crossed
Ouch! that is a lot of dough and I hope it serves you well for years to come.
