Has anyone recently had a dash cam installed by the dealer? I received a quote for $2,285, including installation, which I thought was excessive.

 

That seems excessive. Is that the OEM dash cam they quoted you? There are many alternatives out there at a much lesser price. I would let a qualified car audio installer do the job for you even if you get the OEM dashcam.
