Default Fault Code P2701-07 on 2013 SDV8

Ask my mechanic to check for fault codes on my RR SDV8 2013 model and the fault code P2701-07 pop up for the gearbox. Have an appointment with ZF gearbox and before I take the vehicle I would like to do my own research on the fault code.

"P2701 is an OBD-II generic code for the engine control module (ECM) or the transmission control module (TCM) detecting a problem with the transmission circuit that controls the overdrive clutch"

I think this is the problem that I have been having with quick acceleration where the vehicle would build up the power and then boom the vehicle just pull back and shudder. If there is more info out there with regards to this problem please feel free to share.

Thanks in advance

I have a similar problem (I think). Your post was a few months back so curious to know how you went?

I have this shudder that develops on gentle acceleration and more prominent when going up an incline or hill. I was in 2-minds to figure out if it was an engine mis or a drive train slip. I am inclined to think the latter but still not sure.
