Default Remove 2018 L405 Rear Seat Entertainment Screens

Hello!

I have a 2018 RR Autobiography. Love the car – but would very much like to remove the rear seat entertainment screens. They get in my way loading the vehicle and just all around bother me. Any pointers greatly appreciated...

Cheers –

Did you ever make any progress with this? I’d guess there may be an article in Topix somewhere. I’m interested in doing the same to mine.

Nothing yet! I've called multiple dealer's, they act completely dumbfounded as to why anyone would ever want to do this.. I ask them to see if JLR has any recommendations, they feign a callback, and one never comes. Oh well

I would really like to do this – if anyone has any tips I'm all ears!

I'd bet this is a good start. The first few minutes show you how to remove the seat panel underneath where our screens are.

Great find!! Boy, that looks involved... I'll email the man and see if he has any tips. The only other concern I have is: will the vehicle require any additional coding?

I have done this on my 2019 RR AB. No coding required yet. So far nothing else in the car seems to miss them. Working on a cover now to plug the hole.

Awesome! I sold the car – a driving reason was the silly screens. Kudos for working out how to yank em!
