Worth the extra money for a refreshed model over a 2016?
I've been looking at getting a long wheelbase Range Rover with the V8 and take long road trips with 4 adults and spend time driving through snow and ice and would like one that is comfortable and capable for 4 adults. I looked at a 19 autobiography that was very nice, but over $150k. On the other hand they had a 16 autobiography for around $65. Is the only major difference between the mid cycle refresh and the 16 the new screens? Can you get the same back seat and other features in a 2016 that you get in a refreshed one?
The seat controls and larger screen in the new one were nice, but I don't know if it's worth the huge price premium

It's just a facelift, fundamentally a facelift with new cosmetics that are very subtle and improved interior electronics. That plus the warranty wouldn't be worth $85k to me... yikes
I actually can't stand the new LCDs for basic functions. It's all still very laggy and cumbersome. I like having CarPlay but otherwise would stick w a 2016. If you were looking at 2020s then there are much improved new Ingenium inline 6 engines including MHEV and PHEV versions. That is a significant change but risky in first year of production (and likely not relevant for you if only interested in the Autobiography)

Update: it is model by model for the 2016s, and mine didn’t work. HSE TD6. No one could give me a reason why it didn’t work. Real bummer, mostly for maps and music.
