Default Replacement Becm

I'm trying to find a replacement Becm for my 97 lr rr 4.0 se. I think I may only need the power board though and can Just swap it out, there was a fair bit of corrosion and I tried to clean it up but no luck. Still having issues. I live in Alaska, US so would need it shipped here.

Hi Alaskarover. I知 not an expert on these, but I don稚 think you can replace only the BECM. I think you may need the matching ECU and probably Instrument cluster as well. Maybe just replacing the pcb would work? I知 not sure.
For used parts I would try roverguy.com out of Virginia. He has a lot of used LR parts and is great to deal with. He probably also knows what pieces you will need.

Yes, all three need to match.

If you have a Nanocom you can synch the ECU and the BeCM.

The easiest but most costly may be to find a matching set of BeCM, ECU and Instrument cluster with a working fob(s).

Only issue with this choice is what ever that set has for mileage is now what your P38 has.

Your best bet may be resellers out of England where there were more P38's.

One place you can see about is Classic Rides North Wales.

Run by a guy named Les....he is the only one who has cracked the code to program replacement Fobs for the P38.
