Looking at buying a well maintained 2013 sport (5.0 V8) with 152k miles on it. Has a bunch of service records. I was under the impression that the 2013 doesn’t have the plastic timing guide issues. But are there any other known issues with this year? The guy will take $15k for it though I was trying to get him down a bit more. It’s very clean both inside and out. I’m also considering a 2006-2009 with the 4.4 V8 but those have been tough to find in nice condition. I also prefer the interior on the 2013 but not at the expense of getting the year with more problems. Any thoughts episodes be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The history report doesn’t list all exact repairs. Some just say service or something like 75 mile service. So I’m honestly not sure how to tell.

 

If it’s not rattling most likely it’s been serviced.
