I'm going crazy with this Range Rover Sport
Hi, I just got a Range Rover Sport 2013.
The vehicle was vibrating on high speed, so I lifted up and saw a bad rear driveshaft support. I ordered a new driveshaft from Land Rover, installed it and vibration on high speed is now gone.
However I have now found a new clunking noise when going slow uphill, or on a level surface with some load. I initially thought the axle shafts were bad, so I went ahead, and ordered the 2 front ones.
When the parts arrived, I installed them and thought the noise thing was resolved, but to my surprise, the noise is still there. You could feel on the truck the loud knocking or clunking. The noise only appears when driving slow, I could make it louder if I hit the brakes while accelerating. I can't reproduce the noise on a lift, I don't want to keep spending money, so I was wondering if any of you guys happen to know what could be causing the noise. I'm attaching a youtube video, I bought some "chassis ears" and place them all around the truck, the one that makes more noise is on the right side of the front differential. I've already checked the oil, no leaks, no metal or evidence that something is bad.
Any information would be appreciated.
