So as you might can tell from the heading, the parking brakes on my 2008 RRS is completely locked up. I have all the parts coming in to rebuild everything but the problem I have is getting the rotor off. I paid for a week sub to all the current docs on TOPIx and a day sub for programming the modules with SDD (I've used it many times) so I can have access to the "mounting, unjaming etc" routines. So I removed the access cover to get to the brake adjuster but nothing is there! The whole thing is just locked up and not moving at all. Anyone have any ideas on how I can take the rotor off?

 

So if I wanted to replace the whole hub and wheel bearing. Can I just remove the large wheel hub nut and remove the whole rotor and hub all together? The hub and bearings don't cost much and she has 120k miles on the clock so I might as well do it.
