Default Advice on purchasing a Range Rover Sport.

I am looking at purchasing a 2017 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Dynamic with 24K miles. I have never owned a Range Rover in the past. Any input on this model would be greatly appreciated. What do I need to look for and are there any issues with this model & year what so ever that I need to be aware of. Thanks again for any information.

I just found out Land Rovers certified preowned warranty gives you 5 years and unlimited miles. I would want that if I were buying a 5 year old RR. I’m trading my 2018 in in a few weeks when my defender finally arrives. I’m about 1k miles away from my original factory warranty expiring which is the main reason for the trade. Everything’s been working fine so far but it makes me nervous keeping it without warranty!

Bought ours new and they will not stand behind it. Engine blew up at 51,200 miles. $40,000 to repair. If you like to buy beautiful, neat things just to throw them away, then by all means.

I just picked up a used 2021 Sport with the 3.0 inline six gas engine, so your post has me curious:

Which power train?

On what basis did they refuse warranty?

I purchased a 6 year 50k mile extended warranty at dealer cost, so hoping I have some level of protection. The local Indy shop specializing in Jags/Rovers says the inline six has been reliable.
