I bought a 2014 L494 and for a while, I could lower to Access Height when stopped and parked but all of a sudden, my typically cranky Range decided it wouldn't lower to Access from Normal when stopped or parked so I played with it for a while and found a work around that helps me get it done anyways. I now have to hit the lowering feature when pulling up to a parking space or when about to stop completely and as long as the wheels are moving I can get it down without any issue. If I'm parked, it tells me there is an obstruction and then it goes into high mode and it's just gets ugly from there. If anyone has any ideas on how I can engage Access Height when parked or stopped, please be in touch. I have tried it on flat road surfaces with no obstructions anywhere, on hills both directions with no luck. I'm sure it's one of the million sensors not working but the workaround will do for now so I don't have to spend hundreds to repair.
