Default Range Rover Sport 2015 TV Install add-on ?

Hi all, wondering if I buy the tv tuner from eBay the Land Rover that’s supplied from new but they sell on eBay for like 75 quid:

Is it a case of just taking the multimedia dash apart and plugging it in, then connecting it to the antenna on a split ? And the tv function would program itself into the menu or something.

Seems too easy and too good to be true but just wondering if I buy one will this work, anyone know of this being done ?

Have attached a picture of the unit.

@Danny_5 Did you try it? I was thinking of doing the same and was wondering how you got on?

Hi mate was told it wasn’t possible so ended up with a car play adapter 240 to buy and 80 to fit in the end but was all good at least it has car play now.

speakers keep going on and off but that’s a different issue think a loose connection wire this was present before the box was installed

oh, shame.

Did you already have the DVD player installed though? I have TVs front and back that play DVDs but no option for Tv/freeview.

The misses 14 plate evoque had tvs front and back with DVD and freeview.
