Default Update---- I pulled the trigger on the 2020 SVR

What a journey!
Negotiated right up to the last day of the month—lots of back and forth with the dealer, but I finally sealed a great deal on a 2020 SVR. This thing is an absolute beast. 🔥

Originally, I was leaning toward an Autobiography, but after test-driving the SVR, I was hooked. The sound, the feel—just couldn't say no.

Dropped a pic below. Would love to hear from you all—what should I be excited (or maybe nervous) about next?

Great Choice! I bought a new one back in 2018 with the same decision between SVR and AB.

My SVR is now just under 90K miles and in for a oil change and new breaks. BTW I got 60K miles on a set of brakes and the worn pads lights are not even illuminated.
I have had no significant issues during my ownership. Only a CO2 censor and suspension parts when the extended warranty was coming to an end.

As it was getting older I just could not sell it when I bought a Defender V8 in June 2025.

Defender is so nice I wasn’t a fan until I actually got inside one. I love this truck it’s been great to me so far. Just not enjoying the trips to the pump but that’s the territory it comes with 😂😂😂😂 enjoy your defender!!!!

Great choice. I share your journey. An SVR has been on my bucket list, so I too purchased a 2020 one last month.

welcome to the club!!!! post some pictures. Only issue I’ve been experiencing in the infotainment system working intermittently at times aside from that this is so exciting to drive.

Ignore the scuffed wheels. Had them repaired before I took delivery. Very please with the car, so far. Had more options than I was expecting.
