My manual says my 2018 Velar has a max coupling point (hitch) vertical static load capacity of 386 pounds, but then also says the tow ball mounted accessory capacity is 147 pounds. I am unclear on the definition and difference of these two ratings. In particular I am trying to determine if I can use a scooter/motorcycle carrier in the hitch receiver that would total 300 lbs for the carrier and scooter.
