It is a 2003 Land Rover Discovery II Se7. It has 125k miles on the clock and runs great. I have had the head gaskets replaced along with the coils, plugs and wires 15k miles ago. The exhaust has also been redone and has high flow catalytic converters as well as a flowmaster muffler that sounds great. It is lifted with 2.5" Toddco aluminum spacers front and rear. Around the same time as the head gaskets I also replaced the radiator and installed a 180 Degree thermostat. The starter has been recently replaced this past winter along with the crankshaft position sensor. Akebono ceramic pads front and rear. The driveshaft is brand new from Proshaft and is fully greasable. I also have an ultra guage mounted on the lower section under the radio to moniter engine temp, ave. speed, fuel consumption, etc. Everything on the truck works like it should and is fully functional, no check engine lights or amigos. I had new Kenda Klever MT 285 75 16 (33's) installed roughly 5k miles ago along with some 16" Discovery wheels which replaced the 18" stock wheels. The headliner has seen some better days but isn't that bad and the front bumper had cracks when I bought. I had plans to build or buy a steel bumper but never got around to that yet.

I have pampered this truck since I have had it with oil changes probably too often and have used the Rotella T oil as recommended by so many people here on the forum.

How many owners prior to you? Do you have maintenance history receipts?

 

It is a clean discovery inside and out. I don't have the time to beat it up off road like some of these other discovery's. I believe there were two owners before myself. I have the printout of the carfax when I purchased it a couple years ago, which came back clean/good or else I would not have bought it. I have done a good amount of maintenance on it which I have all of the paperwork for. At least you wont have to worry about head gaskets, cooling system, exhaust, driveshafts, etc. than many other land rovers suffer problems from cause its already been done. nice truck is it a ticker? have you done anything about the oil pump issue? is it in the VIN range? I'm waiting on my insurance co to tell me if my rover is a total loss. Guy ran a red light and smashed my 03. I will know Monday and if it is I'd like to talk to you about your truck. I'm in FL but from VA and visit every few months.
