Yeah probably pretty damn heavy. I will check and see what kind of shape they are in. Plus I'd have to pull them.

TomR told me that you can pull the bolts on the axle flange, brake line, and tie rod end, and remove the ABS sensor , then slide the whole thing off in about 20 min. so it isn't too bad. I'd be willing to take that (depending on price and shipping of course) as that would give me more than I need but be easier for both of us. H said he got it at a u- pull it yard for like $65 pes side. I would pay more considering you are doing the pulling and such. I have no idea what shipping would cost, but Fed Express will ship up to 75 lbs fairly cheap.. but that will leave you with no way to move the truck without a jack under the front end. Just being realistic here!

Yea doing it as an assembly is much easier. Buy yeah the weight of all that I'm sure is pretty heavy X2. 65 per side would be fine. I don't mind pulling them. I sold all 5 wheels and tires this weekend so it's not going anywhere until it gets dragged away for scrap.

You could probably get brand new Swivels for less than what you'd be paying me.

Starting to get nervous about the difference between the ABS and non-ABS Swivels. Now i saw where there is a 12 spline and a 24 spline axle depending on year and ABS. I was told mine is an 'early' 97, Just want to make sure everything will fit before all this work takes place. especially since I have a Discovery 1 and this is a Range Rover. I was told the swivels are the same, but it looks like they are different pins on the ABS and non-ABS models. Hate to end up with parts I can't use.

Anyone with some experience in these chime in!

Swivels and axle housings are same for D1 and RRC. ABS pins have a hollow center for the sensor to pass through. Non ABS have a solid pin.
The axle shafts are different and the differential is different. Your truck has 24 spline. This truck has 10. Since you have your ABS disabled, the parts you need will interchange.

Just heard back from my expert, I need to use a Discovery 1 , 1997-1998. the axles use a 24 spline and the 1989 Range Rover uses a 10 spline axle so it won't work. I bo need one of the CV Joints too. Guess I start the search all over again. Sorry to take up your time.

Oh you wanted to use the CV's too. Yeah no that won't work. I thought you just wanted the Swivels and related hardware.
