Sorry; didn’t mean to hijack you for sale listing.

The touring is a very rare e23 745i factory turbo. Only a handful are known but this one needs lots of restoration.

I fell in love with the e24 back in the early 80s and bought my first in 87. The E28 pictured is my first and splits daily duty with my D2. I still miss my D1 but have my eves on a Defender 130 crew cab. Just trying to decide when I want to bring it to the US.

Look at it this way it's at the top and not because people are making fun of it, I would say that is a plus around here

Duh, should have noticed the front turn signals. That's really obscure and interesting. Was never really a fan of the e23 but there's a poverty spec early Euro here with gloriously ugly deep blue cloth and 5 speed I have my eye on if the owner (original owner since new; she bought it in Austria and drove it through the Alps) will let go for cheap. I have a set of factory new Style 5's in staggered 8 series fitment that I think would look super on it. Paint is tired so with just a nice subtle drop and the wheels it could be a nice little cruiser and ok looker.
