1997 Range Rover 4.6 HSE
I'm selling my Range Rover. My fiancee and I broke up, and since she was the one who drove this truck I now have no use for it.
I bought this in August of 2006 with 60,000 miles on it and today it has about 74,400. It was intended on being the reliable daily driver for my (at the time) fiancee, as she went to school about 3.5 hours away, and so it allowed her to come up to PA to visit when she wanted to, as opposed to me having to drive down and bring her up here. Because of this, I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to give her any problems. Oil changes were frequent, and shortly after buying the truck I changed the trans filter and changed out the fluid on it. I also changed the oil in the transfer case and differentials.
Tires have about 10,000 miles on them, and are General Grabbers, which are great in bad weather. I replaced the air springs with Arnot air springs at all four corners (also about 10,000 miles ago), and at the same time changed the shocks. I also have new end links on the front anti-roll bar. The truck also has new plugs and wires from shortly after I bought it.
This summer the driver's side blower motor was replaced and I redid the headliner. I also had the radio rebuilt. I replaced the rear ash tray assembly (the lid was broken on the old one). The steering wheel is aftermarket as well, and I installed it this summer. At the same time, I replaced the shifter with a new one.
The truck has a few gremlins which I believe to be related to the BeCM. When it starts up, it lists a "Fuse 10 fail" and "Fuse 20 fail." The heated seats don't work, but the power seats do. The fuses are fine, so I believe this is an internal error to the BeCM. There is also an "Airbag Fault." The sunroof appears to be mechanically jammed, and won't open, but it doesn't leak. I just leave it be.
Generally, I expect to see 16-17 mpg @ 70 mph cruise on the highway, and that's in PA where mileage tends to be worse. It could probably do better in a flatter environment.
The paint is in good shape overall, and there is very little rust underneath. There are a few spots on the hood and the roof where the paint is fading some, but I tend to get compliments on what nice shape the car is in overall. I trust the thing and have taken it on a number of trips without issue. Really, I am selling it for the sole reason that I no longer am engaged and I can't justify having two SUVs around. I need the towing capabilities that my Excursion has. I love this truck, I had wanted a Range Rover for a whileand that was one of the reasons for buying one for my ex to drive when I got this job, but it will always be "her" car and I don't want that around anymore.
Asking price is $7500, but I'm open to discussion. Pictures can be found here:

If you have any questions, send mean eMail or private message and I'll be glad to answer. The car is located in Williamsport, PA, and I may be able to assist in delivery.
Thanks for looking!

RE: 1997 Range Rover 4.6 HSE
A clarification:
The "AIRBAG FAULT" warningis the SRS airbag, not the air suspension. The air suspension works perfectly, and this truck does NOT have the dreaded "EAS FAULT" warning.
