Default 1997 stock SD 5-spd Disco 73,200 miles for sale

I'm the third owner. Have owned this truck for 2 1/2 years. When I purchased it had a little over 60,000 miles. Truck needs full service and new spare tire; otherwise ready for a new owner. Everything works perfectly, from the cruise to the rear wiper defrost and everything in between. Gets about 17-19 mpg, doesn't leak anything, and it's the finest vehicle, new or used that I've ever owned. I wanted to build this truck for major off-road, but being on disability (SSI) doesn't leave any fat on the bone for truck mods or even much maintenance.

This is the one any serious Land Rover off-roader wants. The last of the 5 speeds! I'm asking $4200, but I am negotiable. Someone that can appreciate this vehicle should have it.

Sorry about that. FYI-this truck is getting allot of attention since I placed it online. If anyone wants me to hold it for them, go to PayPal and put a refundable 10% deposit down and I'll hold it for 24 hours. If you don't show in the 24 hours or email me direct for a phone or address, I'll refund the deposit and sell the truck. Thanks, good luck.

I already have two appointments to show the truck today. I don't think it'll be here much longer.

OK. Truck is OFF the market. Keeping it, so now I need some parts. Does anyone have a lone steel wheel (16 x 7), new or in good shape? Also looking for some tires. Need something in the all-terrain vein and in the end I'll need 6 as I'll be carrying 2 spares.

I want to carry my spares on top and plan on making a rack to do that. I'm also going to make a rack to bolt up to the spare tire (OEM) mount to carry 2 to 4 military fuel cans. Seen anything like that out there? Need some design ideas.

As stated, I need a rack. I can make one, but would entertain a safari rack purchase if it wasn't too far to travel and pick up. If you have one and you are near I-40 anywhere from NC coast to Tenn, give me a shout.

i know a guy in deleware who has some A/T' for sale think he has 5 probably too far, as for the rack keep an eye on Craigslist and even offer people money if they are selling the truck and have a rack on it. i mounted one of my spares in my truck, waiting to get a second but will mount that in there as well, but i also took out my back seat.

Default Inside no good

Yeah, that would work if I weren't travelling with 4 dogs. Relocating out west so we're all going on this trip.

By the way, do you know how to get the stupid lug nut covers off? It's probably simple as hell, but I just can't see the solution. Kind of like one of those Chinese finger puzzles; until you see the solution it's a mf to figure on your own. I can't even change a frickin flat right now.
