1998 D1 For Sale
1998 Discovery 132k miles
Runs good. Straight body. Rust free. Always been a desert truck. Straight body. No dents. Paint is fading on the hood and roof. All the lenses are good. No cracks. Grill is good. Windshield has a couple chips. All other glass is good. Sunroof and heated seats. Seats are typical ripped up w covers on them. Back seats are good.
New Radiator. New Battery. New Master Cylinder. Bunch of other new sensors etc. Sitting on 235/85/16 good highway tread. Runs good .Head gaskets have been done. Recently according to the previous owner. No codes that I'm aware of. Can't drive it much w the trans issue.
Trans is bad. It intermittently goes forward. Always goes in reverse. I will include a known good used trans out of a truck I drove home.
1500obo w the trans. 1900 with me installing the "new" trans. If my asking price is met I'll throw in the brush gaurd from my truck. Willing to trade or partial for D1 off road parts. Lockers/gears Rock sliders diff protection etc etc.
Located in Las Vegas 89128. I will help w shipping on my end. I do have the spare tire.

Turn of events. The buyer backed out and i returned his deposit. Now I have the transmission out as he wanted me to do the job. So it can be sold as is. Or I can finish the install. Or I may just part it out. I will still include the good trans if anyone wants it this way.

This damn thing is still hanging around. Been in my garage since September. Buyer bought it then was going to do the trans install at my place. He never finished. Good trans is in. He ran into difficulty when installing the transfer case. I think it needs one of the locating pegs from either trans or t-case removed so it slides all the way in.
I just want it gone. It's been in my way for months.
It's rust free. Clean title. Good body. Clear title. Lots of new parts.
1200 or trade for D2 parts.
