I am selling my 1999 Land Rover Discovery 1 SD
4.0 V8 Engine
Everything is stock.
162,XXX miles. Just did an entire head gasket job this spring (courtesy of Mr. Tillery) and had the entire cooling system and radiator flushed. I have the paperwork and photos to show the work that was done.
there are no codes displayed. There were a couple of random misfire codes, but the head gasket and valve job took care of those. There have been no codes since. The truck runs cool even sitting in traffic in 100 degree weather with the AC on full blast. The truck could use new springs and shocks, as its quite squeaky over bumps. The oil and filter were changed regularly and I changed the t-case and diff oil shortly after buying the truck. The thermostat and fan clutch were also replaced shortly after I bought it.
And if it matters to you, the heated seats work very well.
Has a few leaks here and there, but nothing major.
