2000 D2 SE7 for sale-Low Miles!
Hi Guys,
Its time to sell my Disco . I have too many cars and not enough storage or time to work on them.
This is my 2000 SE7, Rutland Red with grey interior with 116k miles. I've owned it for 7 years, bought it with 98k miles. I am the 4th owner. It was originally a NJ truck, I bought it while I lived in PA, and took it with me to Vermont when I moved here 2 years ago.
I'm a "car guy" and have loved this truck. I have used it to camp, haul kayaks and bikes, and to take me skiing. It has been extremely reliable and has never left me stranded. I have kept up on all the maintenance, and have a file of receipts documenting everything I have done.
Head gaskets were done at 60k miles by the previous owner and I have documentation of that. I have an Ultragauge, and the truck has never overheated during my ownership. Starts, runs, drives, shifts, and, stops as it should, although it may need front rotors as there is a slight pulstation under braking.
There are no CEL's or ABS lights. I have done the 3 Amigos fix and have a Amigo scanner that will be included.
Mechanically the truck is very sound. All fluids were changed by me when I bought the truck. Oil changes using Rotella every 3k miles. Typically will use a quart between changes.
A/C blows cold, heat works great. Seat heaters work. Cruise control works. Cup holders. I-phone integration through the original stereo which works great, although I believe the passenger front door tweeter is blown. New sub-woofer. New heated windshield and A-piller finishers. Roof rack with the crossbars included.
I added a D1 CDL. I installed a Lucky 8 greaseable driveshaft. New power steering pump 3 years ago, although there is still a slight whine in the steering when turning. Tires have at least 50% tread remaining. Air suspension works as it should. New spark plugs and wires 2 years ago. Much more I am forgetting....
This truck did have rear frame rust that I had professionally repaired 2 years ago. The truck has been oil undercoated annually since the rust repair, and looks good and passes inspection.
Please note, this truck has been used as a truck, so cosmetically it has some dings and scratches, but is still presentable and cleans up pretty well. The interior is still in good shape, some mild wear on the drivers seat and the headliner is coming down in spots.
I'm looking for $3500.
Any questions fire away, and if anyone needs additional pics, let me know.
Thanks for looking!!

Wow - nice looking truck! I don't think it will last long at that price - especially with your maintenance and add-ons. If I lived closer I would grab it!

Some other stuff:
-It has the grey 180 degree thermostat. I did radiator hoses and coolant flush at that time as well (3/2015)
-D1 wiper blades front and rear
-Fuel injector seals (6/2015)
-Passenger front door window regulator (2/2017)

No doubt, good looking truck...this will be a fast sale!
If someone doesn't buy it from here put it on CL. Becasue if this turd > https://vermont.craigslist.org/cto/6195335305.html is your "competition" your rig will sell in under a day.
I'd say good luck with the sale, but you won't need it.

I tend to sell my cars at competitive prices, its not worth it to me to haggle over a few hundred dollars.
I already do have a potential buyer, coming up from DC to buy it next week
