2000 Discovery FS - Many New Parts!
**First $1000 takes it!**
Up for sale is my Disco. Well taken care of, but currently has an engine issue and doesn't start. I believe the timing jumped, but I don't have the time to mess with it. I have another Land Rover so I just don't need it.
The specs:
North Jersey
140k
Clean title
Dual sunroofs
ACE system, Leather, heated seats, Harmon Kardon sound, running boards, G4 rear tail guards, 18" hurricane wheels, brush guard with Hella lights. Also has full tint, floor mats, rear ladder, spare tire cover and wood grain dash. New JVC head unit with Bluetooth, front and rear USB, remote, iPod, etc. Factory stereo and 6 Disc changer also.
The good: New in last 10k: cooling system including rad, hoses, soft spring stat, water pump, fan, fan clutch and shroud. New transmission cooler lines, mass air flow sensor, battery, plugs, wiper motor and a serviceable drive shaft instead of the ticking time bomb from the factory. Also brand new 500 miles ago are new brakes all around, including Abekbono pads in the front. Head gaskets were done about 30k ago and no issues. All windows and sunroofs work. Prior to the issue, all cylinders had great compressions and oil pressure was great. Always used M1 oil or T6.
The bad: A few battle scars. Drivers door as pictured is dented thanks to the wifey backing into it. The hood has a few dents. Otherwise, nothing abnormal for the age and the paint is in very nice shape. The one back door doesn't unlock with the remote, the middle seatbelt in the back has been removed, the brush guard has seen better days and one of the ACE lines had a cut so I bypassed the system so it would not harm the expensive ACE pump. The truck had been sitting since March when after running all day fine, I started it back up later and it had low power and no vacuum. I thought a cat might be clogged, so I disconnected the exhaust but nothing, and I didn't have time to mess with it after.
Please feel free to email with questions. I could take pics or video of whatever on the truck you want, and answer any questions. Even if just using for parts, the truck is worth the money. I would part it out if I had time, but really think it could be an easy fix for someone.

OK... looks like I will part out a few things before I get rid of it. Prefer local, but could ship smaller parts. E-mail me at snafu4 at optonline dot net if you have requests. Check out the new parts page as some things are barely used. Not taking any body panels off though as my wife would REALLY kill me then with a 1/2 apart truck in the driveway!
