Truck looks very nice. Awesome color. Awesome interior. Mechanically sorted. A few cosmetics need doing.

Get it detailed for $500 and you'll get an extra few K out of it.

I've been looking at every 99-02 (and 03-04) Disco for sale for months, on all channels. Pretty good handle on the market.

I don't think BaT (BringaTrailer) is the right venue, people will throttle this story to death bc someone will reference this thread and you'll get hosed. I suspect t it would sell for 7K there if you go no reserve. I am on there for hours a day and have bought/sold many cars there.

My advice. Advertise the car online. Be entirely upfront but ditch this story that we now all know, for whatever reason. It is going to work against you selling this car. It's now a car with a story. It should instead be a car that you've brought into your sphere, spent a good bit of money bringing up to par, it needs a few cosmetics, and you sell it for what it is now worth with all the work done ie 8-10K. It's irrelevant that you got hosed by a jackass. (sorry!)

 

I have been looking around recently, I’d say 6k and it sells. Anything more is a bonus, these trucks are cheap or ridiculously overpriced from what I’ve seen.

 

Would you consider selling the front brush guard separately?

 

Very cool color combination. I noticed on the engine paperwork it does not specify top hat liners, but I am curious as to what the $4k+ line item at the top (R&R engine and overhaul) entails? Can you shed any light on that?

 

Very nice rig and what a perfect color combo. I wish you were closer to Seattle! Its just not in my cards right now to make a trip like that. I did that last November to pick up a 996 from Temecula and it was a nice drive.
