Just showed it to someone today and this is how it went:

1. Looked at the car for 20 minutes
2. Took it for a TWENTY-FIVE mile test drive (so that's like 2 gallons of premium gas)
3. And finally, lowballed

Please do not waste my time if you are interested in the disco. SERIOUS buyers only.

I am in no rush to sell so I am not going to take off $2,000 off the asking price.

Weirdest thing was that they unplugged my dash cam. So I have no idea what they did with my truck.

Good luck with the sale, truck is worth it all day long. I have sold several in that price range and condition.

FWIW, I never let a test driver take a drive without me in the passenger seat.

Thanks for that. But I have decided not to sell just yet. I'm gonna keep it for a little while longer. It's my fourth car so it's not totally necessary but I still think that it's nice to keep.

 

I keep thinking in the back of my head to sell my 98 D1 and get myself an 04 D2 in White with a Black interior or Black on Black, but then I go drive my 98 D1 and it's just got a totally different style all it's own. The though comes and goes, but in the end my 98 is still tucked away safely inside my garage lol.

 

Ads for cars bring our creeps. Ugh. 25 miles. Absurd. If I didn't already have a fourth/fifth car Disco I'd buy it sight unseen.

I sold an Excursion on Craigslist. It sold in 8 hours with no test drive. I guess I priced it too low. Anyway, this guy called before the buyer showed up so I told him I'd call him if the sale didn't go through.

He then asked me ... "so what else do you have for sale?". Umm. Nothing! Creep.
