2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE - Drama Free Edition

SOLD - 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE - Drama Free Edition
Up for offer is my 2004 Land Rover Discovery II SE. I wanted this color combo and a truck from a non-salt winter road region. I located it in Austin TX where the dealer had gotten it back from the original owner with 37800 miles back in 2011.
About 10k later and the wife and I are heading to Grammy's for T-day. Cruising along when suddenly the engine dies as if shut off. T-day canceled… Took the ride of shame. Anyway, turns out later 2003 and early 2004 models (Bosch 4.6) had issues with the oil pumps letting go. I was lucky, when it went, it took out the timing chain so the engine did not starve. I decided to go all in and get the engine redone correctly (top hat liners, cam, lifters, etc.); 8k later it was done (Great Plains Rovers). That was 2.5 years and 16500 miles ago and it runs wonderfully.
Exterior is clean and straight. Interior is clean, no tears or worn places in the leather. Systems work as they should. As the pictures attest, this is a great example of a DiscoII; I'd say a 9.3 out 10. Current mileage is 62500 total on truck, 16500 on rebuilt engine.
This one is/looks virtually new with an engine that will not let you down. Fly-in and drive anywhere. Located in Gardner, Kansas.
