Sounds like breather tube may be clogged

This has been a problem in the past. Is your check engine light on?

I read somewhere that there is an anti trickle valve in fill hose and it may have to be cleaned; but with all the codes I would think it would throw one.. My wifes KIA did it and it was a sensor of some kind not sure,, KIA was done on warranty

The check engine light is on for the IACV unplugged (its thinking backwards going for dealer fix) other than that there are no codes.I guess I am going to pull the tubes or drop them down and take a look. I hope its a quick fix.

Most likely a clogged vent tube then. There is a check valve in the carbon canisiter that can get clogged, but that will set off a code.
New we are assuming that this has happened to you more than once.
There is a gas station in my neighbothood that I cannot use with my Rover because it keeps shutting off the pump just like you mentioned.
Only that one gas station though, dont know why.

I have tried to fill it up aboutsix times in the past 3 months (its not my daily driver) and I tried at four diffrent gas stations to make sure that the pressure was notset to high at the pump. It did take a larger quanity of fuel at one station because the nozzle was a little longer and I twisted it to the side.

Mine does this very same thing but I believe it is gas pump specific. I have actually moved to another pump and the problem has gone away. It's done this enough times to be quite annoying.

Pull the nozzle out of the filler neck, stick it in just far enough so that it doesnt spill down the side of the truck.

There is a trickle valve in located in these filler necks. It will not set a code when it fails. The only fix I know about is to replace the filler neck-have done oneat the shop and did not see the car back for that issue. Lots of gas stations do have pump nozzles that fail and will cause this issue with any car. Do try switching pumps/stations to see if it alleviates the problem.
