Default 4.0 Top Hatted Block and parts

For sale is a unbuilt 4.0 top hatted sleeved block and all parts to make a complete engine. Need to sell to move onto diesel conversion.
Can also arrange to have bottom end finished if desired for an extra fee.
Located in BC Canada and can arrange shipping.

4.0 block should work as a 4.6 if you use the 4.6 guts. This would be great for a 2003-2004 d2 with a busted engine.

Was it a Bosch engine or a GEMS engine?

Sadly, don't have the money to pick this up, despite the fact that I need it BAD. Can you take a 4.0 truck and run it with the 4.6 internals? Just curious. Anyways, good luck with the sale, probably half of everyone on here could use it!

Yes the block is good for both 4.0 & 4.6, but if you are building a 4.6 then I would sell just the block for $1900 as all the internal I have are to build a 4.0.

Good to know. I'm still struggling to sort out all the differences. Having a 4.6L D1 would be fun! GLWS, If it's still around toward december I might just be able to pick it up.

If I still have this engine by December I will hopefully have built it by then and be running it in my truck but would still rather have my dream diesel instead.
