Default 97 D1 SD 5spd

I don't want to sell this. I really don't. In a few weeks I'm having major surgery on my right shoulder and I will be unable to drive it for at least 3-4 months maybe longer. Plus I have a stack of medical bills and deductibles to pay so a little extra cash would be nice. I'm not desperate so I'm somewhat firm on price but I will consider a partial trade for a Classic or a clean and/or modified P38.

97 SD
Factory 5spd
145k miles
Zero rust. None. California/Nevada truck
Straight body. Minor dings here and there
Paint is ok. It has "desert pinstriping". Most of that will buff out if you care

Rovertyme bumpers front and rear
QT diff guards
Skid plate
OME lift
RTE boxed/cranked arms
Stainless brake lines
4 like new BFG KO2'S 265/75
5 steel wheels
SD rack with a Yakima wind deflector. Makes a huge difference in noise
D2 headlights
New D2 shaft
Ultragauge
CB
TF HD steering bars
Remote resivior front shocks
4.10 gears true Trac front and Detroit rear Locker
Magnacore wires
New battery
Genuine Saudi grill included. Not a home made one.

Interior is pretty good. I have a set of really nice SD door cards I will include or install. Cloth manual seats.Even though this is an SD some genius installed an aftermarket sunroof in the front. I've never tried to see if it works. It does not leak. The rear doesn't have a sunroof.

I've changed all the fluids.
Runs excellent. I believe this engine has been rebuilt. I can't prove it. It has excellent compression and clean heads on top. No tapping/knocking. Zero overheating issues. No codes. Passes smog easily. I would drive this truck to NY today. No problem. Cruises at 75-80 no problem. Shifts on the 1-2 shift can be a little crunchy when it's cold. Otherwise it's fine. I've changed the fluid in it twice. No big chunks or debris. It's now running Redline MTL

Cons:
Windshield is cracked.
Needs a headliner
Has a bushing snap under full flex that I haven't found yet.
It's a bit squirrelly at high highway speeds. Sway bars have been removed. So you've got to get used to how it drives. I'm used to it now. I think heavier rate springs would stop some of the body roll.
Rear windows are disabled due to those stupid plastic wheels being broken. I have two brand new regulators that I will include. I'll install them too if it's a big deal to you.
This is not a pebble beach Concourse truck. Its not perfect. At all. It's reliable and capable as hell. I've driven this truck 1000s of miles on and off road. I trust it completely. Everything works except the cruise control.

7500 with everything
6500 with stock diffs.

Don't I know it. I looked for years for a 5spd. I found this one in disrepair in Fresno. I took a flight out there and drove it 8hrs home. I've pout a ton of time money and love into this thing. I love it.

Not really about the money. My shoulder will be completely useless for 4 months. Maybe more. I won't be able to go out with my dogs or home or anything with a stick shift.

Buy a Saturn....... way cheaper than a Honda.

I wouldn't buy this just because I'd hate myself for stealing your love.

I 2nd the kidney idea.

You know, you really got me excited and then face slammed me in one post here.

I'm at two months after knee surgery and I wanna just saw it off and get a peg. Damn near kill myself just trying to get my pants off, not the first time but for a way lousier reason.
