Well, I crawled under the truck in the rain to see what brand the new front prop shaft might be. Lo and behold, it's new, the receipt indicated it's not got more than 1000 miles on it BUT, it's a genuine Land Rover replacement. No zerks, no serviceability.

Now, keep in mind, this prop shaft cost over $900 installed AND tends to last 80-100K miles without any issues (meaning it will probably outlast most of the DII's on this bulletin board). Nevertheless, I understand the desire for zerks like I understand the desire for a 4.6 among the congnoscenti so I'll price this part at $250 shipped.

If you, or anyone else is interested let me know.
Cheers,
Paul

Default bumper help

I'm looking for the rear bumper for a d2. If you have the bumper support and cover in one solid piece that would be great. Removing the outer shell is terrible.

I live in cedarpines park, ca 92322.

Based on the dimensions, UPS calculates the shipping rate on a rear bumper (properly packed) at 149 pounds. That makes shipping it across the country nearly $200. While I have a couple of good rear bumpers in stock, unless you're willing to pay in excess of $400 for one, including shipping, I think you'd be better off looking for one on the west coast.
Cheers,
Paul

I'm glad I saved her from a CT winter as you would have definitely been driving this one
